We have developed several soot filters, which have operated successfully on fork lift trucks and on stationary diesel engines. But we have yet to find the right partner who can help us develop our technology into mobile applications.
The perceived problem with mmmf based ceramic filters is that they are brittle, and lacking in strength. There is also the problem of regenerating or back cleaning the filter. We can combine superb strength with extremely low pressure drop. Coating with the appropriate catalyst will effect continuous low temperature burn of the soot, thus continuously regenerating the filter.
