Brightcross SILIN HT is a specially formulated insulating material for use in contact with ferrous and non ferrous metals at temperatures up to 1600°C. It contains no materials which are classified as carcinogenic. It is available in the form of sleeves, pouring cups and hot tops.
Brightcross SILIN HT vacuum formed sleeves are produced by dewatering a slurry containing alkaline earth - silicate fibres, microporous amorphous silica, refractory fillers and binders.
