Product Data

Brightcross vacuum formed inhibited RCF shapes are produced by dewatering a slurry  containing  ceramic fibre, inhibitor (inert fluoropolymer) starch and silica.

The resulting items when dried are rigid, low density and exhibit the following properties:

  • Coloured pale blue-green to identify as inhibited.
  • High temperature stability.
  • Low thermal conductivity.
  • Low heat storage.
  • Low density.
  • Good thermal shock resistance.
  • Good corrosion resistance.
