Product Data

Brightcross inorganic RCF shapes are produced by dewatering a slurry containing  ceramic fibre and an inorganic binder. The dried products are further hardened by impregnating with colloidal silica The resulting items when dried are rigid, low density and exhibit the following properties:

  • High temperature stability
  • Low thermal conductivity
  • Low heat storage
  • Low density
  • Good thermal shock resistance
  • Good corrosion resistance
